About · The Agent
A photographer's eye for your next chapter
Tara West is a Realtor in Halton Region and beyond, known for warmth, humour and the nickname "Agent T." Before real estate she spent 25 years behind the camera, and she brings the same eye for light, possibility and story to every home she shows.
The Story
Creativity in everything
Tara brings creativity, energy and a deeply personal approach to real estate. A proud mom who describes her children as her heart and soul, she was raised in a highly creative household, her father an interior decorator and her mother a choreographer in the music industry.
Surrounded by art, design and performance from an early age, she spent many years studying ballet and dance before eventually building a remarkable 25-year career as a published professional photographer in the fashion, journalism and entertainment industries. That creative eye now translates seamlessly into real estate, where she fell in love with helping clients see not just houses, but the lifestyle and possibilities within them.
Having moved multiple times across Canada, including chapters in Alberta and beautiful British Columbia, Tara understands firsthand the emotions and logistics that come with major life transitions. She grew up in Mississauga, raised her children in Oakville and now calls Milton home. Her diverse life experiences and deep understanding of lifestyle-driven moves allow her to connect authentically with clients who are searching not only for the right property, but for the right next chapter.
Known for her warmth, sense of humour and signature nickname "Agent T.", she is driven by a genuine desire to contribute positively to the lives of others. She has a passion for fashion, music, health and wellness, and a lifelong connection with animals. With an insatiable appetite for learning, growth and travel, she is constantly expanding her perspective on lifestyle living.
One day she hopes to split her time between the California desert and life by the water, her personal vision of the ultimate lifestyle. Until then, she continues to bring creativity, authenticity and heart to every client she serves.

Why the Guide
Most moves start with listings. Tara's start with a conversation.
She built The Lifestyle Move Guide for the clients she meets every week: people who know the life they want doesn't quite fit the place they're in, but aren't sure where to begin. It's a free, considered starting point that works through the everyday, the non-negotiables and the practical trade-offs, before any listings come into view.
When you're ready, the guide ends with an invitation: a relaxed Lifestyle Discovery Conversation about your next chapter, with no pressure attached.
